1. Removal of a giant 834 gram urinary bladder stone( largest stone in India till date)

2. Super specialty Live Operative workshop for Hypospadias Repair.

3. Start of Hemiarthroplasty for the Hip Fractures.

4. Start of the middle ear surgeries for the first time.

Kudos to the doctors, staff, administration, Directorate of Health Services and above all the patients who though the ultimate beneficiaries also provide the chance to show to the world that things are changing for the better as regards the health care in our district.

A successful live operative Workshop on Hypospadias repair was conducted today at District Hospital Anantnag which was the first of its kind ever done in any peripheral Hospital. 5 different cases were demonstrated by the invited faculty leading to a wonderful exhibition of skill applauded by the august audience.
Director Health services has complimented the organising team for this exemplary feat and District Dev. commissioner Anantnag who inaugurated the workshop along with CMO Anantnag praised the team and expressed their desire that such events continue for the benefit of the needy patients and propagation of the skills among the surgeons.
