Dhoot Transmission is an Indian conglomerate company headquartered in Aurangabad, Maharashtra, India, and was founded by Mr Rahul Dhoot in the year 1999. It operates the business in products as diverse as Wiring Harness, Electronic Sensors and Controllers, Automotive Switches, Power Cords, Automotive Cables, Connectors and Terminals, suiting to 2-Wheelers, 3-Wheelers, Commercial Vehicles, Off-Road Vehicles, Earth Movers, Farming Equipments, Medical Equipments & Domestic Appliances etc. Today, we enjoy the patronage of having 22 manufacturing facilities spread across the globe that includes 5 locations in UK, Slovakia, Thailand, Japan & South Korea and 17 locations in India. We are serving to a large customer’s base stretched in 8 countries and 3 continents. In fact, we are one of the most ‘in-demand’ company globally for wiring solutions.

In 1921, when Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan left Mysore University for a new role, his students decorated a carriage and — out of pure affection — pulled it themselves to the station to bid him farewell. It was a gesture born from hearts, not hierarchy — respect for a teacher who had quietly shaped their lives.

A century later, at Dhoot Transmission, we strive to cultivate the same spirit. In 2024, a young engineer preparing for his first major customer presentation found himself guided late into the night by his senior mentor. Line by line, they refined the work until confidence replaced doubt. The next day’s success wasn’t just about a project delivered; it was about learning passed on, strengthened trust, and culture lived.

As we celebrate Teachers’ Day and embrace the spirit of Onam, we honour both — the teachers who once shaped nations, and the mentors within our company who continue to build a culture of growth and togetherness, from hearts, not from hierarchy.
