A young female came to our clinic with complain of difficulty in chewing due to missing lower jaw teeth and want best treatment for same.We planned dental implants to replace her missing teeth follwed by extraction of one molar which was non restorable.

A59 year old female with history of severe pain and swelling in left parotid region referred to our clinic,on clinical examination left parotid sialedintis with purulent pus discharge noticed from left stenson duct of parotid gland to rule out any pathology or obstruction CT was done and it revealed approx 9mm stone at distal end of duct below buccinator muscle.Oral antibiotics and warm compress advised but patient didn’t got relief hence surgical removal of duct stone sone with temporary stenting of duct.Patient got immediate relief from pain and swelling reduced subsequently.
