Join Us in the Heart of the Jungle at Langur Sarai Farm & Homestay!
Are you keen to live and work close to nature in the stunning Bandhavgarh territory of Madhya Pradesh?
We are looking for passionate, nature-loving individuals to join us (and our dogs!) on our beautiful 15-acre jungle farm and upcoming homestay.
🌳 About the Farm:
Our land is bordered by jungle on three sides and is home to a vibrant mix of wildlife – from birds and reptiles to the occasional big cat.
We’re focused on reforestation and land regeneration using permaculture gardening, and we’re also getting ready to launch our small homestay.
Note- We are an inclusive, gender neutral farm & ensure a safe, respectful space for all.
🛠 Immediate Role Opening:
*Farm Supervisor*
Commitment: Minimum- 1 year.
(3 months trial period).
Requirements:
(All or few of the following):
- Experience in Kitchen Gardening, Organic farming .
- Agro forestry.
Would be useful if you have the below skills, but is not not mandatory-
- Permaculture Design Course completion.
- Work experience in any nature-related field.
- An understanding & awareness of Central India’s trees, plants, and biodiversity, will be helpful but is NOT mandatory.
- Basic Cooking skills

Language fluency- (written & spoken)
Hindi required. (English & other languages useful).
Basic computer skills required- data entry, basic report writing, inventory & record keeping, documentation skills.
Ability to work well with local labour & external vendors.
Key Responsibilities:
In collaboration with our core permaculture team- Grassleela (Bhopal), you'll help supervise and support:
* Ponds & swale construction
* Rewilding efforts
* Forest & fruit tree plantations
* Kitchen/vegetable gardening
* Seasonal crop & seed farming
* General gardening oversight – flowering, ornamental, and evergreen species
💰 Compensation:
To be discussed and finalised based on experience and skills.
🏡 Accommodation & Food- simple, shared living space, attached bath, kitchenette & food will be provided
