🥣 How to make Amla Buttermilk (Winter-friendly)

1 cup fresh buttermilk

½ to 1 tsp amla powder (slightly roasted to reduce excess cooling)

Pinch of roasted cumin

A little dry ginger (shunti) for warmth

Rock salt to taste

Mix well and enjoy mid-morning or after lunch

If you have cold, cough, sinus congestion

If digestion is very weak

If you feel increased dryness or chill after consuming

❤️ A Winter Tip

Roasting Amla powder lightly in a pan before adding to buttermilk makes it less cooling, more digestible, and perfect for Hemanta Rutu.
