Her hands heal, her heart leads!

When vision is challenged, insight becomes a gift.
Our physiotherapist, who sees the world through courage and compassion, has been transforming lives—one healing touch at a time.

Today, we proudly celebrate her well-deserved recognition by the Blind Persons Association, Ahmedabad for excellence in physiotherapy.
Her dedication has brought remarkable improvement to children with disabilities, elders, and many individuals beyond our organization.

She reminds us every day that true ability lies in determination, not sight.
Congratulations on this remarkable achievement! 🌟❤️

🌾 Milestone Collaboration for Inclusive Agriculture 🌾

We are pleased to share that Sama Foundation has entered into an MoU with REVA University to jointly develop disabled-friendly agricultural equipment.

Through this partnership, REVA University will provide technical expertise, while Sama Foundation brings its experience in promoting inclusion and accessibility for persons with disabilities.

This collaboration marks a significant step toward making agriculture more inclusive, enabling persons with disabilities to participate actively and independently in farming.

Together, we aim to create a future where innovation empowers every individual, and accessible technology transforms livelihoods in the agricultural sector.

Effective communication is not just about sharing information — it is about building understanding, trust, and connection. In the development sector, the stories we tell and the way we document our work play a key role in helping people see the impact on the ground.

With this in mind, we conducted a capacity-building session for the staff team at Sama Foundation, focusing on communication practices such as writing clear reports, maintaining proper documentation, capturing meaningful photos and short videos, and presenting stories in a structured and engaging way. Strengthening these skills ensures that the work we do every day is communicated authentically, responsibly, and with purpose — helping us build stronger engagement with communities, partners, and supporters.

A heartfelt thank you to Pratibha and John for leading this session and guiding the team with practical insights.

Meet Shilpa P., a young and talented artist from our GHS School, Srirampura!

At 17, she is redefining possibilities through her artistic brilliance, proving that her hearing impairment is no limit to her creativity. She began her artistic journey in 8th grade and has since developed an impressive portfolio that includes landscapes, Mandala art, traditional art forms, free-hand designs, self-portraits, and intricate line drawings.

Recently, Shilpa had the incredible opportunity to participate in a Chittara Art Workshop at the National Gallery of Modern Art, organized by the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. Her work stood out and earned her heartfelt appreciation from the organizers and art lovers alike. They were so impressed with her talent that they promised to provide her with further training to nurture her skills.

Shilpa lives with her proud parents, Nagarathnamma and Puttaraju, in Srirampuram, Bengaluru. Her story is a shining example of how art can empower, inspire, and break barriers.

Let’s cheer for Shilpa as she continues her beautiful journey in the world of art! 🎨✨
