Honoured to Speak at the World Cancer Congress – Oman 🇴🇲
It was a privilege to represent HCG Cancer Centre and The Yellow Ribbon at the World Cancer Congress 2025 in Muscat, Oman — sharing our experience and recent advances in Orthopaedic Oncology.
Our session focused on:
🔹 Genomics in Sarcomas – the evolving role of precision medicine in predicting outcomes.
🔹 3D Printing in Tumor Reconstruction – translating design to durable limb-salvage solutions.
🔹 Massive Allografts in Children – restoring growth potential and function after complex resections.
🔹 Robotics in Orthopaedic Oncology – enhancing surgical precision and improving long-term outcomes.
We also shared insights from our Oman cohort of 30+ sarcoma patients, with an average follow-up of 2.5 years and a survival rate exceeding 70% — highlighting the importance of multidisciplinary collaboration and continuity of care across an 8–12 month treatment journey.
The meeting brought together thought leaders from the Gulf, Middle East, and GCC region, reaffirming the collective vision to build regional excellence in cancer care and limb-salvage surgery.
Grateful to the organizers and colleagues for the meaningful discussions and partnerships shaping the future of oncology.
