THE MISUNDERSTANDING OF RED MEAT
Almost Every meat has red blood in it, even most of the fishes, and the meat looks red. So does it mean its unhealthy?
Its a English grammar usage misunderstanding. Let me explain and you can also cross check in detail by googling "uses of gelatin in food".
When animal protein is broken down and absorbed in our body, our blood becomes pH acidic, to compensate it our body needs alkaline food. If alkaline is not available from the food digested, our body will extract calcium from our own bones to balance the pH. This will lead to weakening of our bones as the reverse is slow and not only that, When our bones shell out calcium molecules, these calcium has a inclination towards our DNA and it has a tendency to become back bones. This chance of becoming back bone happens in our kidneys were the blood is moving slowly for filtration. If a small particle get calcified in kidney once then more and more calcium particles gets stick to it and finally form a "Stone" and hurt us.
So its NOT eating more calcium leads to stones but eating less leads to. Well coming back to our "Red meat" issue, In olden days our eating habit was "Nose to tail" concept, but as civilizations progressed and become richer, we started eating clean meat by throwing away bones, cartilage, fibrous tissues, fat and gelatin etc. In fact these things were alkaline which compensated the digestion process of animal protein.
So what scientists explained terming "Red meat" was clean meat avoiding those bones, cartilage etc.
So don't be afraid in eating the food you love.
"Its not what you eat makes you sick, but what you don't eat"
