With a view to help the economically poor patients, Late Dr. N.Krishnaswami, Retd DMO of Tamil Nadu, started a free clinic for the poor in Vyalikkaval Bangalore in 1970 and later in 1977 the “FREE CLINIC ” for the poor patients shifted its place to 18th cross Malleswaram with a changed name “SRI RAMANA FREE CLINIC” Ramana– referring to “Sri Ramana Maharishi”. Later in 1999 it was registered as a registered Trust under Act 12A as a wholly Charitable Trust. Later Sri Ramana free Clinic Trust joined hands with major hospitals viz M.S.Ramaiah Dental and Medical college/Hospitals and Sankara Eye hospital to take its free service to the needy people to next level. It is all a team work with a simple motive to serve the poor in whatever way possible and as per our funds.
