Medongo would like to thank NASSCOM for inviting us to present the Health ATM and discuss our Smart Health Platform at the Conference on “Reimagining Public Health and Human Services with Information Technology” along with IBM WATSON. It was an opportunity to share our contributions and learnings from Mohalla Clinics, Sub-Centres in Rajasthan, Punjab, and Karnataka.

Medongo Health ATM will be open 24/7 for employee healthcare, automated medicine vending and wellness solutions.

Bangalore based Medongo is proud to announce being awarded a ₹ 4.30 Cr contract with the Government of Karnataka. Over the next 3 months, our team will be training Govt Doctors and healthcare staff at 347 PHC's in Karnataka and install our Tele-Medicine software and Smart Health suites. With this Medongo will be able to provide Healthcare access to 45,00,000 patients in Karnataka and targets the addition of another 2,50,000 consults on a monthly basis.

MedOnGo is proud to announce that it has launched another Health ATM, first one in Punjab in Sangrur. The Health ATM was inaugurated by the Health Minister of Punjab Shri Brahm Mohindra. The Health ATM will provide Doctor consultations from General Physicians and Specialists from across India and medicines instantly to the patients.
While Doctor availability, Infrastructure, medicines stocks and other challenges paralyze rural healthcare delivery, Health ATM is a single solution to many such challenges.

We visit the Doctor when the pain is extreme, the fever has been only increasing or motions aren’t stopping and once it’s beyond our control. What if we could speak to our Doctor just when the pain started and maybe through a phone call he will advice us on what home remedy, cure we should try.

Disrupting & Digitizing Healthcare isn’t a Coding Game! Rather the focus should be on Doctor & Patient relationship. The product flow, functions and features should strengthen the communication between two- not just the consultation process, but every stage of recovery. The platform should allow Patient to communicate with Doctor 24/7 and ask everything he’s concerned with & help Doctor with relevant data of patient so that he can be steps ahead of patient and monitor his health.

Mohalla clinics efficiency has increased by 4 times with MedOnGo’s Clinical Management Support System.
Earlier Doctors were able to consult about 40 patients in a day. Now the number can crossed 160 at several clinics. The fact that Mohalla clinics have been able to provide consultations to more than 2.5 Million patients in less than a year, is a testimony of the efficiency of the system. We appreciate the faith Mohalla Clinics had in our systems and dedication of Doctors who took time and adopted our systems.

In a shocking incident, family of a 22yr old boy entered a Hospital's ICU with a ta***ic, moments after he was declared dead by the Hospital staff. For next 4 hours ta***ic tried to wake the dead by cutting lemons, rooster and all possible black magic rituals.
Incidentally, this is just few km away from MedOnGo’s health set up in Kota, Rajasthan. Healthcare in rural India is more complicated than lack of doctors or medical equipment. Infrastructure can be provided, but these incidents remind us that real challenge is the lack of awareness, illiteracy, certain cultural mindsets and even superstition.

An efficient rural health system needs to continually educate and communicate with patients, bringing awareness on approach to healthcare.
