Honored to give a talk on " Stress and its management", on 12/12/2024, at the headquarters of the Income Tax Department, Bengaluru. The talk was webcast live, and Income Tax officers from all across India had joined. This was followed by a Q & A session which encompassed questions from various areas of mental health like Depression, Grief, Trauma, Anxiety, work life balance, Family issues. We were very honored and privileged to have among the audience- Principal Chief Commissioner of Income Tax Sri Shelley Jindal, Principal Commissioners of Income Tax Sri Anurag Sahay, Ms Priscilla Singsit , ROWA Patron in Chief Mrs Minal Jindal. Program was very well moderated by Ms Nishi Padma, Addnl Commissioner of Income Tax. Special thanks to everyone at the Income Tax Department for considering this topic for awareness, and all their efforts in making this a wonderful event. Hope programs like these bring much awareness into an often suppressed and neglected topic of Mental health and Psychological well being. World Alzheimer's Day is celebrated on 21 September every year. We aim to promote awareness into this oft sidelined issue. Memory issues are real, and are common. Be alert to the earliest signs of cognitive decline, and seek assessment / help as necessary. Early recognition leads to better treatment.
