Recognition came Strides’ way at the 14th Annual Legal Era India Conclave, Bangalore where our Legal team, led by Sormistha Ghosh, was honoured as India’s Leading and Finest General Counsel in the Pharma Sector 2025. The award was presented by Hon’ble N. Santosh Hegde, Former Solicitor General, former Lokayukta, Karnataka and retired Judge of the Supreme Court of India.

On the same platform, Sormistha spoke as a panellist, sharing her insights on the evolving role of General Counsels as strategic navigators in times of disruption. She suggested that GCs need to increasingly focus on business continuity plans to avoid risks to disruptions due to climate change. The recognition stands as a testament to her leadership and the team’s commitment to strengthening pro-active support to business operations and creating long-term value at Strides.

We recently hosted a theatre-based workshop for our middle and senior leaders at the corporate office, an experience that left a lasting impression.

Led by Aparna Ponnappa and Dramanon Bangalore, the session used storytelling and live performances to shine a light on how unconscious biases show up in everyday leadership. Whether it was gender, age, or thinking styles, the examples felt real and relatable.

Conversations flowed, reflections deepened, and many of us walked away seeing things in a new light. A big thank you to the facilitators and every leader who showed up with curiosity and heart.
