Our Story

Dr Sumitha Nayak received her undergraduate as well as her Masters degree in Pediatrics from the prestigious institute ,the Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute, Bangalore India. She went on to get a Diplomate in Pediatrics from the National Board of Examinations, New Delhi, India. She also holds a post graduate diploma in Medico-Legal Science from the prestigious Symbiosis school of Law, Pune.She is a HARVARD Medical School certified Practitioner for Lifestyle Management and Weight Control. She attends training workshops on a regular basis, to keep herself up to date with the latest in the field of Pediatrics. She has received the prestigious Fellowship of the Indian Academy of Pediatrics, the highest academic qualification of the Academy in Jan 2020, in recognition of her selfless service to improving the cause of children in India. Dr Sumitha Nayak has been a practicing Pediatrician with over 26 years of rich experience. She hasbeen working overseas in a Multi Specialty Hospital, catering to patients of various nationalities. This has given her a keen insight into parents problems when dealing with their sick children. With her kind and gentle nature, she is able to handle the most agitated and aggressive patients . At the same time, she deftly handles all the parents queries, leaving them with a sense of having all doubts and queries addressed satisfactorily. She has been a keen teacher and has seized every opportunity to convey the knowledge of Pediatrics to all willing students. Though a practicing Pediatrician she has taken a keen interest in academics and has presented papers at several conferences. She also has a Handbook in Pediatrics to her credit.
