👁️ Wash your eyes with cool, clean water to remove dust and debris.
🚫 Avoid exposing your eyes to soaps or harsh chemicals.
🕶️ Wipe your spectacles regularly with a clean, soft microfiber cloth to prevent scratches.
👓 Clean contact lenses with a lens-cleaning solution and always wash your hands before wearing them.
🌙 Remove contact lenses before sleeping and replace them as recommended by your doctor.
🙅‍♀️ Never rub your eyes.
💻 Follow the 20-20-20 rule while using digital screens.
👀 Blink more often to keep your eyes moist.
💧 Stay hydrated — drink enough water throughout the day.

✨ Celebrating Creativity & Safety This Deepavali! ✨

On 19th October 2025, Narayana Nethralaya Eye Hospital hosted the “Areli Diwali Art Competition” at Indiranagar branch, spreading awareness about firecracker safety among children. 🪔🎨

Over 75 young artists from 23 schools across Bengaluru participated in diya painting, paper toran making, and lantern crafting across three age categories.

The event was graced by Mrs. Naina Shetty, Director, Narayana Nethralaya, who not only judged the competition but also spoke about protecting our eyes during the festive season. 👀

✨All participants were gifted safety glasses to ensure a safe and injury-free Deepavali, and they also enjoyed the vibrant Tiger Dance, celebrating the rich cultural heritage of our state. 🐅💫
