Diabetes is due to either the pancreas not producing enough insulin or the cells of the body not responding properly to the insulin produced.
It is mainly of 3 types as fallows
Type 1DM. results from the pancreas failure to produce enough insulin it is also known as insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or juvenile diabetes. The cause is unknown.
Type 2DM. begins with insulin resistance a condition in which cells fail to respond to insulin properly. It is also known as Non insulin dependent diabetes mellitus or adult onset diabetes. The main cause is ex excessive body weight and insufficient Exersice.

Play a safe holi

Do's & Don't on Holi

-Use clear glasses or if in the sun, sunglasses to protect your eyes from colored water and powder. ( And avoid playing Holi with your Contact lenses ON )
- Wear a hat or cap to protect your hair and eyes.
- Apply a thick layer of cold cream on your face especially around the eyes so that the colour doesn't stick and it can be easily washed...
-While washing off the color, keep your eyes tightly closed and use warm water.
