One of the worst things that we humans have ever developed which is lethal to health is Alcohol, and to***co of all forms ( beedi, cigar, cigarette, hukka, ghutka, pan masala, Zarada etc to name a few) Strangely I remember 31 May is No To***co day and 9 March is No Smoking, but all these days are an eye wash in the name of preventive health! However there is new day called the world whisky day which is celebrated with gusto globally on 21 May. Now does this nasty drink really need so much adulation? Internet is full of articles about this pathetic day, and giving ideas to those who can Celebrate, even if not drinking or used to drinking whisky!
I am sure this note will not go well with folks who enjoy this drink and scientifically arguing that it's got health benefits! Does it really cause any long term benefits well, I have not seen a single person in my 24 years of Nutritional counseling getting any better or his/her heart performing better!
Its time such world days are banned by health authorities.

Why dont we have world Green tea day, milk day, Fruits day, salads day, salt free foods, home cooked food day, world traditional foods day, and NO JUNK FOOD DAY! I am going to ask my clientele to follow World BASIL/TULSI WATER DRINK Day!! On 21 May from now on....
