Life and DJ

Like parents are to you, gums are to your teeth. They support teeth their entire life. They make sure teeth are always stuck firmly in the jaws (they help you keep your ground firm). They give birth, tear open to let teeth erupt into the oral cavity (the way a mom gives birth to a child). They nourish and maintain your health every moment (GCF Fluid). With time, they do get old, they become weak, but they still support you and hold you back (gingival recession). When you insult them and don't respect them, they cry silently (gingival bleeding), become frail and eventually die out, leaving you so alone and without any strength, that you loosen up and get thrown off from life (tooth mobility).

Respect them all your life, because they support you all your life!

Chewing ice can damage your teeth. When you chomp on ice it places a lot of pressure on your teeth which can weaken and wear down your enamel. While it may be tempting, it is never a good idea to chew on ice! In addition to wearing down the enamel of your teeth, ice chewing can cause tooth fractures and problems with your jaws.
