Swami Vivekananda had a vision that India would rise from its slumber and lead humanity. Absence of education and proper opportunities makes such children ignorant of their human dignity and the rich heritage and glorious past of their country. "Feel, my children, feel; feel for the poor, the ignorant, the downtrodden; feel till the heart stops and the brain reels and
you think you will go mad – then pour the soul out at the feet of the Lord, and then will come power, help, and
indomitable energy. IV, P. 367]"
The main objective of the Trust is to build a strong and resurgent India through the ideals of Swami Vivekananda and in this regard to undertake the following:
1. To establish and run schools, education centers, vocation training centers, hostels and ancillary centers;
2. To provide study materials to poor students, to grant scholarships to poor and deserving students to enable them to continue their studies.
3. To organize blood donation camps, health checkup camps, eye donation camps etc.
4. To identify and provide an opportunity to the budding talents by organizing various cultural programme like dance, music, drama, singing, sports etc.
5. To run integrated development programme to improve quality of life of the people living in rural and tribal areas;
6. To conduct meetings, training camps, workshops, seminars etc in all fields and all such related activities for economic empowerment and overall development of personality and art of living;
