Sri Shankara Cancer Hospital & Research Centre hosted Ms Laura-Jayne, Speech & Language Therapist from the UK (University of Liverpool), for a focused academic exchange in total glossectomy rehabilitation.

Guided by our Head & Neck team, she observed:

Multidisciplinary surgical-rehabilitation planning

Functional speech & swallowing outcomes post-glossectomy

Patient-centred counselling and follow-up care

Accompanied by Ms Meereen from Kidwai Institute, both visitors commended our world-class practice standards and remarkable functional results achieved at accessible costs.
