Here's a darshan of Akash Bhairav, better known as Barbarika in the Mahabharata. This deity is referred to as King Yalambar in Nepal and is called Āaju, which means "First King" in Nepalese language.
Legend has it that Yalambar was the first King to establish the nation of Nepal, and also contributed to its expansion towards Tista in the East and Trishuli in the West.
It is believed that worship of the Bhairav is usually a mark of safety and strength. In the Nepali culture, Akash Bhairav symbolizes protection and goodwill for the nation and its people.
