MDR Patient routine visit and counselling about drug consuming and if any drug reaction. Hopefully no such symptoms found and the patient is taking regularly drugs as prescribed and has gain weight.

Its getting very difficult to motivate a patient to continue the 6-8 months TB medicine course at the field level.
After taking medicines for 2-3 months when they recover a little they loose taking medicines & become infectious and after few months they resist the initial stage medicines which is the main cause of improving MDR Patients . The foremost reason is that they have to consume as much as 6 tablets & a capsule total 7.

Many of the patients come into our system very late, after consuming few doses they pass away which is the cause of less outcome.
Even if after seeing the symptoms of TB in them after a lot of counseling they don't pay visit to their nearest PHIs.

Two retrievals of TB patients were successful during the current month.

Finally a girl of Bangriposi TU area was put on DOTs, whose TB was detected in the month of November after a four times home visits.
