🎓 7th Convocation Ceremony | KLE Technological University, Hubballi 🎓

KLE Technological University, Hubballi, proudly celebrated its 7th Convocation Ceremony on December 13, 2025, at the Hubballi campus, marking a significant milestone in the academic journey of its graduating students.

The ceremony was graced by Chief Guest Mr. Seetarama (Swamy) Kotagiri, Chief Executive Officer, Magna International, along with Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Prabhakar Kore, Chairman, KLE Society, Belagavi, Hon’ble Pro-Chancellor Prof. Ashok Shettar, and Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Prakash Tewari.

In his inspiring convocation address, “The Compass That Guided Me,” Mr. Kotagiri shared his remarkable journey from humble beginnings to global leadership, urging graduates to dream big, work with integrity, embrace courage, and strive to “leave it better than you found it.”

• 2,471 graduates awarded degrees across UG, PG, and PhD programs
• 1,502 boys and 969 girls received degrees
• 43 medals conferred, with 25 awarded to women achievers
• 24 doctoral degrees awarded – the University’s third PhD cohort
• More than 5,000 attendees, including faculty, parents, and well-wishers

The event concluded with the presidential remaks by Hon’ble Chancellor Dr. Prabhakar Kore.

ನಾಳೆ ದಿ.15 ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 25ರಂದು ಸಂಜೆ ನಡೆಯಬೇಕಿದ್ದ ಉದ್ಘಾಟನಾ ಸಮಾರಂಭವನ್ನು ಹಿರಿಯರಾದ ಶಾಮನೂರು ಶಿವಶಂಕರಪ್ಪ ಅವರು ಲಿಂಗೈಕ್ಯರಾದ ಹಿನ್ನಲೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ದಿ. 16 ಡಿಸೆಂಬರ್ 2025 ರಂದು ಮಂಗಳವಾರ ಉದ್ಘಾಟಿಸಲು ತಿರ್ಮಾನಿಸಲಾಗಿದೆ. ಆದ್ದರಿಂದ ದಯವಿಟ್ಟು ಇದನ್ನು ಗಮನಿಸುವಂತೆ ತಮ್ಮಲ್ಲಿ ಅರಿಕೆ

The inauguration, which was scheduled to be held on 15th December 2025 (Sunday) evening, has been rescheduled to 16th December 2025 (Tuesday) due to the sad demise of senior leader Shamanur Shivashankarappa. We kindly request you to take note of this change.

KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research (KAHER), Belagavi successfully organized the KAHER Annual Athletic Meet “Humbo-2025” on 5th & 6th December 2025 at the District Stadium, Nehru Nagar, Belagavi.
The event was inaugurated by Shri. Shreepada R. Rao, Sports Development Consultant and Founding Trustee & Hon’ble Chairman of Yaksh*t Yuva Foundation, Belagavi.
The Valedictory Ceremony was graced by Dr. Satish Chouliger, Founder and Managing Director of Navajeevan Hospital, Belagavi and Iron Man Australia, as the Chief Guest.
With over 600 enthusiastic athletes from KAHER’s Medical, Dental, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, Homeopathy, Ayurveda, and Nursing units across Belagavi, Hubballi and Bengaluru, the meet was a vibrant showcase of sportsmanship and unity.
Dr. N. S. Mahantshetti, Officiating Vice-Chancellor, KAHER, presided over the program, and Dr. V. M. Pattanshetti, Registrar, KAHER, graced the occasion with his presence.

In the esteemed presence of Honourable Chancellor, KLE Academy of Higher Education and Research, Dr. Prabhakar B. Kore, the cancer team delegation comprising Surgical, Medical, Radiation, and Paediatric Haematology & Oncology presented potential avenues for collaboration, led by Dr. Kumar Vinchurkar, Professor & Head, Department of Surgical Oncology and co-ordinated by Dr. Swati Goudar, Assistant Professor of Gynaecological Oncology. Dr. Andrew Chapman (Director, Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center & EVP–Oncology Services, Jefferson Health) and Mr. Alex Khariton (Vice President, Cancer Services, SKCCC) were felicitated by Dr. V S. Sadhunavar, Director, Board of Management of KLE Society, and senior leadership of KAHER including Dr. Niranjana Mahantshetty, Officiating Vice Chancellor, KAHER, Dr. Vishwanath Pattanshetti, Registrar, KAHER, Dr. Rajesh Powar, Principal, JNMC. Dr. Shivaprasad Goudar, Principal Investigator, JNMC Women’s and Children’s Health Research Unit guided the discussions towards strengthening academic, clinical, and research collaboration between KLE and Jefferson.

Dr. Andrew Chapman, Director of the Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and EVP–Oncology Services, Jefferson Health, and Mr. Alex Khariton, Vice President for Cancer Services, visited the Dr. Prabhakar Kore Basic Science Research Centre (BSRC), KAHER. Dr. Ramesh Paranjape, Director of BSRC, presented an overview of the Centre’s ongoing research activities. Cancer researchers Dr. Bhushan B. Kulkarni, Dr. Shridhar Ghagane, and Dr. Madhavi showcased their current work, followed by an engaging discussion on potential avenues for collaboration.They visited the KLE Advanced Simulation Centre & Clinical Skills Lab at JN Medical College, where Dr. Atteequeurrehman Harlapur (Assistant Professor, Biochemistry, JNMC) briefed them about the advanced simulation facilities, equipment and training programmes offered to the general public, residents, and faculty. They appreciated the centre’s role in hands-on clinical education and skill development.
