💛 4th Month of Pregnancy (Weeks 13–16)

The 4th month marks the beginning of the second trimester, often called the golden period of pregnancy. Most women start feeling better physically and emotionally.



👶 Baby Development
• Baby is around 10–12 cm long and weighs about 80–100 grams
• Face becomes more defined (eyes, nose, lips in position)
• Heart, kidneys, and liver are actively working
• Bones start hardening
• Some mothers may feel early fetal movements (quickening)



🤰 Changes in Mother
• Morning sickness reduces
• Energy levels improve
• Slight baby bump becomes visible
