Saturn, the planet of justice, son of Sun, a slow moving planet. It indicates limit or boundaries. Rahu, on the other hand, a head only, smoky planet, illusion creator, moves faster than Saturn, and always retrograde.
Both of these planets represents foreign things because Rahu is the karaka of foreign things while Saturn separates one from their homeland or family and takes them to foreign places.
Saturn and Rahu, both doesnβt like sun, so they like each other. When Rahu conjuncts with any planet, it creates illusion of bigger planer. For example, if Rahu conjuncts with mars, Rahu will look like mars and so mars will feel more power in himself (mostly in negative way). Similarly, if Rahu conjuncts with moon, the moon will feel more power in it, which he cannot handle, which in turn, make the native too emotional which may make him unstable.
Saturn is for physical action with consistent labour . A cycle rickshaw represents what Saturn alone does . It moves slowly , requires lot of human efforts and carries two persons . The rider also feels guilty when rickshaw puller is old . Only healthy and strong people can pull a cycle rickshaw .
So, Saturn+Rahu is much better combination provided you apply your mind in pure physical acts of Saturn and remove its labour ,delay and slow response with the help of Rahu , the innovator .
So, when these two friends conjuncts in any chart, Rahu will reduce the ill effect of Saturn and Saturn will reduce ill effects of Rahu. But, the exact result will depends on many other factor also, like the degrees of Rahu and Saturn, the house they occupy and aspects which they are getting. For example the bond will be stronger if the two planets are very much close, and moving towards each other.
The bottom line of the answer is, in most of the cases, the said conjunction cannot be said to be bad.
But when Saturn is Yoga karak or Ascendant lord sitting with rahu in trine or quadrant house provided their dispositor is connected to trine or kendra either exalted or own sign then it creates a massive Raaj yoga. So never generalized Rahu Saturn conjunction for any chart.
If Saturn and Rahu conjunction takes place where Saturn is strong sign and house wise then such combination can create a very good businessman too.Saturn & Rahu conjunction in Ascendant, 6th or 8th house always gives health issues on and off through out life.
The conjunction of Rahu and Saturn in any of the houses in a horoscope forms the Shani Rahu Shrapit Dosha.. The cause of this dosha is the bad karma (misdeeds or actions) of past lives and if some measures arenβt taken by the native to deal with the ill-effects of this, it can even continue from generation to generation. Some astrologers also consider it to be Shani Rahu Shrapit Dosha when Saturn and Rahu aspect each other. Though the combination of Rahu and Saturn can make a person achieve success in activities related to the technology sector but it can delay success or success will not come by one attempt.
This is not a good combination in the 8th or 12th House, as it can lead to suddenly being caught for illegal activity and even going to jail for their misdeed. But in my chart it is not happend till now because other planet strenth also important.
In this 6th House, it gives great courage to fight the opposition, as any malefic planet does well in the upachaya house. But depending upon who is influencing who in the conjunction, it can either lead to victory or great defeat. Also in the 12th House, . Saturn and Rahu are in conjunction for a maximum of 18 months. They usually travel to foreign lands in most of the houses, as Rahu and Saturn's aspect see the houses that represent foreign lands such as the 7th, 8th, 9th and 12th House. Most who are born in a tight conjunction can expect to have the qualities which I just discussed.
My last word is don't go for one conjucntion. Saturn and rahu is also good for foreign income , foreign travels .Saturn and rahu combo is good for technical field , technical knowledge.Many astrologers making fool regarding this Saturn rahu combo.
Remedies for Saturn Rahu
1. Donate 4 coconuts and some almond in temple.
2. Flow 4 coconuts and some almonds in a flowing water /stream/rivers.
