📺 Spreading Awareness: Insights on Liver Health!

We were recently honored to participate in a live television program on Kalinga TV to discuss a critical public health issue: liver failure and the importance of prevention against various liver disorders.

It was a valuable chance to share insights, answer questions, and emphasize the growing concerns around Fatty Liver Disease and Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease (ALD). These conditions are often preventable or manageable, and timely awareness is key!

Key Takeaways We Discussed:
• 🛑 The silent risk of Fatty Liver Disease (NAFLD/NASH) and why lifestyle changes are crucial.
• 🥃 Understanding the spectrum of harm from Alcohol-Associated Liver Disease (ALD).
✅ Simple steps everyone can take to promote liver wellness and prevent serious complications.

Your liver is vital! Don't wait until symptoms appear—make informed choices today.
We encourage you to prioritize your liver health. Feel free to share this post to help us spread this essential awareness throughout our community!

🌟 Honoured to share a few memorable moments from INASL 2025 at Chandigarh 🌟

It was a privilege to chair multiple scientific sessions and actively engage in the rich academic discussions that make this meeting so special. I was glad to be part of the Editorial Board meetings of JCEH and IJG, contributing to the collective vision of advancing hepatology and gastroenterology research.

A particularly humbling moment was being recognized as the Best Science Editor for the Journal of Clinical and Experimental Hepatology (JCEH). This award is not just an individual milestone, but also a reflection of the collaborative spirit of my colleagues, mentors, and peers who make science stronger together.

Grateful for the opportunity, the recognition, and most importantly, the continuing journey of learning and sharing in the field of hepatology and gastroenterology. 🙏

🌍 World Organ Donation Day 2025 – “Answering The Call” 📞💚

Every day, countless lives are saved through the generosity of organ donors. This year’s theme, “Answering The Call,” reminds us that each of us has the power to respond when the need is urgent — to give the ultimate gift of life.

💡 Why it matters:
• One donor can save up to 8 lives and improve many more through tissue donation.
• The need for organs far outweighs the availability.
• Your decision today can be someone’s tomorrow.

🩺 As healthcare professionals, we witness first-hand the transformative power of organ donation. Let’s inspire our communities, dispel myths, and encourage informed choices.

📜 Take action:
✅ Register as an organ donor
✅ Share your decision with your family
✅ Spread the message

Together, let’s answer the call — because your “yes” can mean a second chance at life. 💖
