It is mentally and physically tiring when you work hard for more than 6 hours on newborns , give initial stabilisation and they respond well to initial treatment and in evening they (parents/attendents) take referal for reason other than treatment satisfaction part.

Yes it's a part of our job but drains us mentally , physically and emotionally.

Over years learnt to let it go as soon as refer occurs and reaches destination safely.

As my job is done.

Rest is upto universe.

A 29 week premie , stayed at NICU for 34 days, surfactant by INSURE, IV Fluids for 2days, full OG Feed on Day3, Antibiotic 7 days ,Apnea of Prematurity, Neonatal Jaundice, Started spoon feed gradually after 21 days , Full spoon feed by Day 28, KMC all the day by mother ,father and grandmother, born 1150 gm, sent home at 1600 gm

It feels great to send home satisfied parents .
