এমআইসিএস (MICS) বা ন্যূনতম আক্রমণাত্মক কার্ডিয়াক সার্জারি একটি অপেক্ষাকৃত সহজ এবং কম ঝুঁকিপূর্ণ অস্ত্রোপচার প্রক্রিয়া। এটি বুকে বড় ছেদের পরিবর্তে ছোট ছোট ছিদ্রের মাধ্যমে করা হয়, যার ফলে রোগীর সুস্থ হতে কম সময় লাগে, ব্যথা কম হয়, এবং হাসপাতালে থাকার সময় কমে আসে। তবে এটি একটি জটিল অপারেশন এবং এর সুবিধা ও ঝুঁকি রোগীর শারীরিক অবস্থার ওপর নির্ভর করে।
এমআইসিএস সার্জারির সুবিধা:
ছোট ছেদ: প্রচলিত ওপেন-হার্ট সার্জারির মতো বুকে বড় ছেদ না দিয়ে ছোট ছোট ছিদ্রের মাধ্যমে করা হয়।
কম ব্যথা: বড় ছেদ না থাকায় পোস্ট-অপারেটিভ ব্যথা কম হয়।
দ্রুত পুনরুদ্ধার: রোগীর দ্রুত সুস্থ হতে সাহায্য করে, এবং হাসপাতালে থাকার সময় কমে যায়।
ক্ষতচিহ্ন কম: ছোট ছিদ্রের কারণে সার্জারির দাগ বা ক্ষতচিহ্ন কম থাকে।
হাড় কাটা হয় না: প্রচলিত ওপেন-হার্ট সার্জারিতে বুকের হাড় (স্টারনোটমি) কাটা হয়, কিন্তু এমআইসিএস-এ তা করা হয় না।
কখন এটি একটি সহজ বা কঠিন প্রক্রিয়া:
সহজতর প্রক্রিয়া: যদি রোগীর অন্যান্য জটিল রোগ না থাকে এবং নির্দিষ্ট কিছু হার্টের সমস্যার জন্য এই পদ্ধতি প্রযোজ্য হয়, তবে এটি তুলনামূলকভাবে সহজ। দ্রুত পুনরুদ্ধার এবং কম ব্যথা এর মূল কারণ।
জটিল প্রক্রিয়া: কিছু ক্ষেত্রে, যেমন মাল্টিআর্ট রোগ (একাধিক করোনারি ধমনী বন্ধ হয়ে যাওয়া) রোগীদের জন্য এই পদ্ধতি জটিল হতে পারে, এবং সার্জনের অভিজ্ঞতা এবং রোগীর শারীরিক অবস্থার ওপর এর সহজতা নির্ভর করে।
