Ashwa Sanchalanasana:
The Sanskrit name Ashwa Sanchalanasana is derived from three words. Ashwa meaning Horse, Sanchalana meaning movement and Asana meaning Posture.

Also known as: Aekpaadprasarnaasana, Ashva Sanchalanasana, Equestrian pose

Benefits :
*Stretches the hips on the back leg.
*Opens the hip flexors and strengthens the hip extensors of the back leg.
*Stretches the psoas muscles on the side with the leg extended.
*Strengthens the quadriceps, gluteus maximus and hamstrings.

Contraindications:
*An injury of the hips, knee, ankles or lower back should let their teachers know and stay away from the practice of this pose. An alternative method for the same if the injury is manageable is using cushion, blanket for the knees.

*To tight psoas muscles will take time while get the posture right, and hence never overstretch. Go slow with the stretch as you listen to your body.

*Women who are pregnant should take this slow and alternative by resting the hands on the knee like in Anjaneyasana Hands To Knee (Low Lunge Hands To Knee).

Virabhadrasana also known as Warrior pose. Sanskrit: वीरभद्रासन; Vira – Hero, Bhadra – Friend, Asana – Pose. Pronounced as veer-ah-bah-DRAHS-anna. Virabhadra is a mythological character created by Lord Shiva.

In a Yoga there are 4 types of bhavas:- Janna Bhava(knowledge), Dharma(duty) bhava, Vairagya (let go attitude) Bhava, Aishwarya( Self- reliance) bhava

For Ishwarpranidhan means surrender towards god -this bhava develop when we perform the forword bending asana
