We made a visit to Maria Palana this week with architect Ramesh Tharakan who kindly gave us his time to help create the overall vision of the campus . We caught the kids right in the middle of break time 🙂 . We have 2 new students, Ilavarasan and Anparasan ( in the blue t shirt , alongside his brother ) who have come from Tamil Nadu to pursue their education with us.

To my friends that got a request to "like" this page. Thank you for joining. I sent you a request because I felt you might be keen on hearing more about some of the projects I'm working on in India or just love to hear about innovative ideas happening around the world :) I'm a small part of a big dream project to help a children's home/school in my home state of Kerala. The home/school was right in the middle of the one of the hardest hit areas during the kerala floods this past August. A small group of us have got together to help rebuild the campus along side helping create a Montessori school, after school programming, wellness center, counselling department and other necessities the organization needs to function at its optimum.

Our goal is to empower children from impoverished backgrounds to take control of their lives and bring positive change to their families and communities.

THERE SHOULD BE NO GLASS CEILING FOR THE POOR.

I would love to give more details to whoever is keen. I seem to have a wide network of friends from around the world which is amazing. I would love to hear from you.

Thank you to Kodaikanal International school for all your help in securing mattresses for our students and for being out in the hot blazing sun for 2 days straight and helping us paint the exterior of our buildings that was damaged during the floods .
