🌟 **Cancer Awareness Seminar for Government Officials** 🌟

Dr. **Rajandeep Singh Sethi**, Consultant Surgical Oncologist, ** Indus Hospital MY Hospital Mohali was invited as a **speaker on “Cancer Problem in Punjab”** at a seminar organized by **MGSIPA (Government of Punjab)**.

The session was coordinated by * Dr. Jog Bhatia Singh Ji, Sr. Consultant, Disaster Management, MGSIPA**, as part of a **personnel training programme for government officials**.

✅ The seminar witnessed an interactive and attentive audience.
✅ Numerous cancer-related doubts and myths were addressed.

Indus Cancer Conclave 2025 – Advances in Oncology & Palliative Care

The Indus Cancer Conclave, organized by Dr. Deepak Singla (Medical Oncologist, Indus Hospitals & Ayushman Cancer Care) and Dr. Rajandeep Singh Sethi (Surgical Oncologist, Indus Hospitals & Dr. Sethi Cancer Care), served as a powerful academic platform bringing together leading oncologists from across India.

The conclave featured power-packed sessions on oncology advancements, highlighted by our esteemed international speaker Prof. Dr. Giampaolo Bianchini (Italy), who delivered an impactful session on Triple-Negative Breast Cancer (TNBC) management.

We were deeply honored by the presence of our Chief Guest, Prof. Dr. Pankaj Malhotra (HOD, Hematology, PGIMER Chandigarh), whose wisdom and guidance added immense value to the event. Eminent medical, surgical, radiation oncologists, and hematologists from Tricity, Ambala, Amritsar, Ludhiana, Jammu, New Delhi, Jaipur, and beyond actively participated in this academic exchange.

A highlight of the conclave was the thought-provoking panel discussion on “Bridging Gaps in Palliative Care: Addressing Accessibility”, moderated by DG Rotary 3080 Dr. Rita Malik Kalra and hosted by Dr. Navjot Kaur. The multidisciplinary panel included oncologists, psychiatrists, psychologists, and palliative specialists who emphasized that palliative care remains central to dignity and quality of life in cancer treatment.

This initiative, supported by Rotary Classic Chandigarh, witnessed enriching contributions from distinguished chairpersons, oncology experts, and healthcare leaders who reinforced the urgent need for awareness, accessibility, and compassion in palliative care.

A true legend of Punjabi cinema has left us today. His clean, witty humor and unmatched comic timing made us fall in love with Punjabi movies. For many of us, if Bhalla Ji was in the film, we didn’t care who the hero or heroine was—we just knew it would be worth watching!

He has made millions laugh billions of times, and his laughter will echo forever in our hearts.

Your roles have always been the heartbeat of every movie you were part of. Thank you for filling our childhood and our lives with joy.
