Do I need teeth whitening ?

That being said, just because your teeth are yellow, doesn’t mean they are unhealthy. Even healthy teeth can be naturally slightly yellow.

1️⃣Do I need teeth whitening ?

Like most aesthetic treatments, Teeth Whitening is an elective procedure. If you feel you want a whiter , brighter smile, then go for teeth whitening . It does work in improving the appearance of teeth .
That being said, just because your teeth are yellow, doesn’t mean they are unhealthy . Even healthy teeth can be naturally slightly yellow.

Stains on teeth appear when coloured stuff sticks to the plaque, tartar, and the surface of our teeth. Dental cleanings help remove plaque and tartar, but sometimes the stains still appear in the layer below called the dentin. The bleaching solution applied to the teeth combines with oxygen from the air and carbon in the dentin to break apart the staining molecules stuck on the teeth.

2️⃣ Can I use baking soda to do this ?
NO ! Baking soda and other at home DIYs, albeit, may seem improve the colour do your teeth, they are very abrasive in nature and can cause more damage long term than good .
