Addressing India’s Trauma crisis ,the reality of road-traffic accidents deaths in India is stark. Road-accident deaths number more than 1.5 Lacs per year, that means more than 400 die every day in India as most of the patients between the age of 20-30 years of age don’t get proper ICU care on time and also there is lack of proper Neuro-ICU care in most of the healthcare system . Fatalities may be more that are not entered in the hospital’s data .
Serious injuries include Severe Head injury, Cervical spine injury, Blunt injury chest and abdomen.
As a neuro and spine surgeon , i emphasize that injuries like severe head injuries and cervical spine injuries require immediate expert intervention . We all educate everyone especially young generation about this serious problem and follow safety precautions .
First Golden hour is very important and prevent secondary brain damage.

Today I share my insights on the challenging critical road - traffic accident case of
our famous Punjabi singer Rajvir Jawanda
and hope for his recovery from deep coma 💐💐

🧠 Your spine is a biomechanical marvel.
It supports more than 120 muscles and is connected by over 220 ligaments. These muscles provide strength and stability, allowing you to walk, twist, bend, and maintain posture throughout the day. The ligaments hold your spine together, protect the spinal cord, and keep vertebrae in alignment.
Even a small misalignment or muscle imbalance can lead to pain, stiffness, or nerve issues.
Most people only think about their spine when pain begins. But daily posture, sitting habits, and stress levels directly impact spinal health.
As a neurosurgeon, I’ve seen how early awareness and consistent spinal care can prevent major complications. Let’s shift our focus from treatment to prevention—because a healthy spine truly means a healthier life.

🧠 Brain Tumor ≠ Cancer? Not Always!
Hi, I’m Dr. Anil Dhingra, Neurosurgeon at Paras Hospital, Panchkula.

Let’s clear a common myth: Not all brain tumors are cancerous. Some are benign (non-cancerous) and grow slowly without spreading. Others may be malignant (cancerous) and need urgent treatment.

🔍 So what’s the difference?

A benign tumor may cause symptoms due to pressure but usually doesn’t spread.

A malignant tumor can invade nearby brain tissue and may come back even after treatment.

📍 Where? Brain tumors can develop in any part of the brain.
📅 When? They can appear at any age — in kids or adults.
❓ What should you watch for?

Frequent headaches

Vision problems

Memory loss

Seizures

Early diagnosis saves lives! If you have symptoms, don’t delay.
