*Sitopaladi Churnam by Arya Vaidya Sala Kottakkal* (Text - Sharangdharsamhita)

*Benefits:* Sitopaladi churnam is widely used for in cases of respiratory system related diseases like cold, cough, chronic tonsillitis, chest congestion, asthama, allergy, and in digestive system related conditions like tastelessness, indigestion, hyperacidity, fever, burning sensation in palm and sole,anorexia etc.

*Dose:* 5 to 10 grams along with hot water or honey three to four times daily after food( for dry cough sitopaladi churnam along with honey and ghee & for productive cough along with honey gives good result). Infants: 1 pinch with honey three times a day after feeding. Children : 4 pinch with honey three times a day after food. or as directed by the physician.

*Ayurvedic Properties*
*Roga karma:* kasa, shwasa, Kshaya, hasthapada daha, mandagni, jihwa supthatha, parshwa shoola, aruchi, jwara, urdwa raktapitta

*Dosha karma:* Kaphapittahara

*Agni karma:* deepana

*Other gunas:* Pitha shaman, kapha lekhana, srotoshodana, rochana, daha and shulahara

*Ingredients*
Each 10gms is prepared out of:
1). Sugar Candy - 5.161g
2). VamshalochanaBambusa sp - 2.580g
3). Pippali - Piper longum - 1.290g
4). Ela - Elettaria cardamomum - 0.645g
5). Twak - Cinnamomum verum - 0.323g

How To Use
• Take just 3-5 drops of the oil into your hands , apply a light coat of it evenly onto the face or to the acne area . • Do a gentle massage with your fingers . • Leave it for 10 - 20 minutes . .
