Taking care of your breast health starts with knowing your body. Breast self-examination (BSE) is a simple, quick way to check for changes early, empowering you to catch potential issues sooner.

Look out for lumps, hard knots, thickening, ni**le discharge, pain (if new and persistent), redness or dimpling of the skin and any unusual ni**le changes.

Perform BSE once a month, preferably a few days after your period ends when breasts are least swollen and tender. For those with irregular cycles or post-menopause, pick a consistent day each month.

Early detection can save lives—start this monthly habit today.

Menstrual cups are gaining popularity for all the right reasons. They’re safe, eco-friendly, and comfortable. 🌿 But myths still make many hesitate.

Menstrual cups are made from soft, medical-grade silicone. They collect menstrual fluid inside the va**na and can be worn safely for up to 8 hours.

However, menstrual cups require some practice to insert and remove properly and finding the right size can take time. Some may find it messy or inconvenient to clean.

👉🏽 It is impossible for a menstrual cup to be lost inside your va**na since it is a closed canal.
👉🏽 You can urinate with a cup in place. Because the urethra (urine passage) is separate from the va**na.
👉🏽 Menstrual cups are not only for married women.
👉🏽 Menstrual cups are safe for anyone who menstruates and do not affect virginity.
👉🏽 Bowel movements are not disturbed by a menstrual cup!

Did you know that high-level training without enough nutrition can seriously affect a female athlete’s health? 

The Female Athlete Triad is made up of three interconnected risks: 
Low energy from undereating or overtraining.
Menstrual Problems like missed or irregular periods
Thinner Bones—increasing the chance of stress fractures and osteoporosis

These problems often creep up silently, especially in sports where “thinness” is valued or there is pressure to perform. Someday, it can cost much more than just performance. It can impact overall health for years to come. 

Warning signs include unusual fatigue, dramatic weight loss, frequent injuries, periods stopping or changing and even preoccupation with food or body image.

Girls and women, your health is power. Coaches and families, stay aware. Eat enough, train wisely, and listen to your body’s needs! 

Champions fuel both their drive and their wellness.
