Post-delivery is filled with advice from everyone—but not all of it is true.
New mothers can eat warm foods, wash hair regularly, avoid applying oil on C-section wounds, and include dal if the baby tolerates it.
Right information helps faster recovery and healthier breastfeeding.

Trust medical facts, not postpartum myths.

Wound discharge after a caesarean section is not something to ignore.

While a C-section wound usually heals externally within 1–2 weeks, poor healing can lead to infection—especially in women with high sugar levels, excess weight, poor nutrition, or missed antibiotics.

⚠️ Warning signs include increasing pain, redness, watery or yellow discharge, and fever.

Early medical care ensures faster healing and prevents complications.

If you notice these symptoms, consult your doctor immediately.

Not pregnant but noticing milk-like discharge from the breast?
This is not normal and should not be ignored.

Common causes include high prolactin levels, pituitary gland issues, certain medications, stress, and liver or kidney problems. In some cases, it may occur without a clear reason.

Early evaluation helps identify the cause and prevents complications.
If you notice any breast discharge, consult your gynecologist for proper examination and blood tests.

Did you know breast milk changes during a single feeding?
Your baby receives two important types of milk—and both matter for healthy growth.

🍼 Foremilk comes first. It is rich in water and lactose, helping quench your baby’s thirst.
🍼 Hindmilk follows. It is thicker and packed with calories, healthy fats, and vitamins A & E that keep your baby full and support weight gain.

That’s why feeding from one breast until it is completely empty is essential—your baby then receives the full benefits of both foremilk and hindmilk before switching sides.

Many newly married women notice that their periods become irregular—even though their cycles were perfectly regular before marriage.
Is this possible? Yes, it is.

After marriage, several changes can affect your menstrual cycle:

• Lifestyle changes: New routines, sleep patterns, and diet
• Stress: Emotional and mental adjustment after marriage
• Weight changes: Weight gain is common due to stress, food habits, and reduced physical activity
• Sexual life: Regular sexual activity can cause mild hormonal shifts that may temporarily affect cycles

These changes are usually manageable. However, if your periods remain irregular, it’s important to consult a doctor for proper evaluation and treatment.

Your body needs time to adjust—and timely care makes a big difference.

Numbness around your C-section scar? You’re not alone—and it’s usually normal.

After a cesarean section, many women notice reduced sensation or a pins-and-needles feeling near the incision. This happens because deeper layers of skin and tiny nerves are cut during surgery. As healing progresses, these nerves slowly regenerate, which can cause temporary numbness—often felt about an inch above the scar.

The good news? In most cases, sensation gradually returns on its own within 3–6 months, and no special treatment is required.

If you have concerns or the sensation worsens, always consult your doctor for reassurance and guidance.
