This , we celebrate how peer support helps build truly inclusive mental health spaces. When individuals with lived experience walk alongside others, they create understanding, reduce stigma, and ensure no one feels left out of their recovery journey.
At SCARF, our peer supporters help transform care into a community — one where every voice is valued, every challenge is acknowledged, and everyone belongs.

Honouring this year’s theme, SCARF is hosting a Job Drive for persons with mental health conditions on 9 December 2025.
Grateful to our partner employers for supporting inclusive workplaces.
Employment builds confidence, independence, and dignity — and we’re proud to do our part.
Together, we can build a workforce where everyone is included. 💙

Today, on the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025, we honour the theme:
“Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress.”

Disability isn’t always visible — many people live with mental-health–related disabilities that are often misunderstood or overlooked.
Inclusion, acceptance, and support matter because they break stigma, open opportunities, and ensure every person can live with dignity and independence.

As a community, we can challenge stigma, offer understanding, create supportive spaces, and build inclusive opportunities in work, education, and everyday life.

Let’s choose to support. Let’s choose to accept. Let’s choose to include.
Together, we can create a society where no one is left behind. 💙

Today is the International Day of Persons with Disabilities 2025 — a day dedicated to recognising rights, dignity and equal opportunities for all.

This year’s theme, “Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress,” reminds us that inclusion starts with community action.

Today also serves as an essential reminder that disability is not only physical or visible - it can be invisible, emotional and mental too.

HIV is a condition. Stigma is a choice!

Stigma, fear of rejection, and misinformation can lead to emotional distress for people diagnosed with HIV.

Creating an inclusive environment improves not just mental well-being but treatment outcomes, confidence, and quality of life.

✨ Takeaway:
Support reduces stigma. Stigma increases fear. Let’s all collectively work together to end stigma
A kind word, a correct fact, or a non-judgmental conversation can be the support someone needs today.

Let’s choose empathy.
Let’s stand with people living with HIV — not just on World AIDS Day, but every day. ❤️🕊️
