Most patients who are prescribed with an inhaler are concerned about a common myth - ADDICTIONAn inhaler is a medical device used to deliver medicine directly to the lungs by one’s own breathing effort.The inhalers do not have addictive agents. The dose and frequency of usage varies for different diseases.For example, Asthma is a chronic illness, so patients may need to take inhalers for long term depending on their control of symptoms. It doesn’t mean that they’re addicted to inhalers.Lets break the myth. Use inhalers as prescribed by your doctor.
