Platelet rich plasma (PRP) is concentrated blood plasma which contains approximately three to five times the number of platelets found in normal circulating blood as well as plenty of growth factors. PRP can be a safe and effective treatment option done in an out patient basis with no side effects for male and female pattern hair loss. A patient who came to Indra Cosmetic and Plastic Surgery for treatment of male pattern loss underwent five sittings of PRP and has good results. ⁣
