Our team travelled **360 km** to bring quality oral health care directly to school children in Arani.

On 22 November 2025, our team travelled 360 km to Arcot to conduct a dental outreach camp for a mixed population. A total of 56 individuals were screened, focusing on early detection, awareness, and preventive care. The camp was made possible by the dedicated efforts of our team comprising 6 interns, 1 postgraduate, 2 staff members, and 1 FDS. Every outreach, big or small, moves us closer to healthier smiles and stronger community oral health. 💙🦷

Our team successfully conducted a Dental Camp at Vidhai Preschool, Chennai, bringing vital oral health education and screenings to the young students.

Mr. Arun Sundararajan MBA, a retired investment banker formerly at Goldman Sachs, has donated a mobile treatment unit to the Department Of Public Health Dentistry at Saveetha Dental College. He was inspired and moved by our institutes charitable ventures and dedication to patient care not just within the walls of the hospital but also our fervor in bringing affordable Dental care to the people in underserved communities. He is joining our journey of excellence in service to the people who need it most, continuing a grand tradition started since the founding of our August institute. These donations show the esteem in which people hold our college and the services we provide in transforming oral healthcare in the community. Thank you Dr. Arthi ( Associate Professor, Dept of Public Health Dentistry) and Dr. Narendhira Arjun ( Post Graduate) for co-ordinating and facilitating this awesome opportunity to expand our vision and mission.

“Toothbrushing Day was celebrated with a meaningful outreach initiative aimed at strengthening oral hygiene practices in our community. Dental kits were distributed to school children, members of the general public, and patients visiting our OP, along with simple demonstrations on effective brushing techniques. Small habits built today create healthier smiles tomorrow — and we’re grateful for the opportunity to make that difference

We are bursting with pride to celebrate our esteemed alumnus, Dr. Benley George, who has been honored with the prestigious National Charaka Award 2025 for Excellence in Public Health Dentistry! 🦷👏

Dr. George, a dedicated member of our alumni family and currently the Vice Principal at Pushpagiri College Of Dental Sciences, Tiruvalla, Kerala, received this high recognition from the Indian Dental Association (IDA) at a grand ceremony in Mumbai on November 8th, 2025.

The award was presented by the Chief Guest, Mr. Gustavo Gonzalvez, the Honorable Consulate General of Chile.

Discussions were held on how integrated digital platforms are transforming patient care, enabling **data-driven decision-making**, and strengthening **interoperability** across healthcare networks.
