There are a few combinations of vitamins that can help improve their absorption and effectiveness in the body. Here are a few examples:

Vitamin D and Calcium: Vitamin D helps the body absorb calcium, which is important for maintaining strong bones and teeth.

Vitamin C and Iron: Vitamin C helps the body absorb iron from plant-based sources, such as spinach and lentils.

Vitamin E and Selenium: Vitamin E and selenium work together as antioxidants to protect the body from damage caused by free radicals.

Vitamin B12 and Folate: Vitamin B12 and folate are important for red blood cell production and can help prevent anemia.

It's worth noting that taking excessive amounts of certain vitamins can have negative health effects, so it's important to talk to a healthcare provider before starting any vitamin supplement regimen. Natural food is the best supplement.

Experiencing symptoms like fatigue, abdominal pain, bloating, and hormonal imbalances? These can all be signs that your liver isn’t functioning properly. In this case, it might be time for a liver cleanse and other liver-boosting lifestyle changes such as a revolved easy pose.

Definition:
What does Revolved Easy Pose mean?
Revolved easy pose is a basic seated cross-legged posture with a twist that increases flexibility. To practice this pose, begin in easy pose (seated with the legs crossed and knees out to the sides). Then, with the spine upright, turn the gaze and body to the right or the left. The hand of the lead arm rests on the ground for balance, while the other hand reaches across the body and rests on the outside of the opposite thigh.

This posture may also be known as easy or simple twist pose and in Sanskrit as parivrtta sukhasana.

Revolved easy pose is often used as a warm-up posture. Such a simple pose has a range of benefits, including:

Boosts metabolism.
Stretches the upper back, upper chest, spine, hips, neck and shoulders.
Massages the abdominals organs and stimulates the liver and kidneys.
Lengthens the spine.
Opens the hips.
Eases sciatica, backache and fatigue.
Reduces anxiety, tension and stress.

Caution:
Anyone who suffer from arthritis, scoliosis, neck pain or a back injury should skip revolved easy pose or practice only with the approval of a doctor and expert supervision.

Pericardium 6

Location: On the palm side of the wrist a couple of inches toward the body in between the two tendons (palmaris longus & flexor carpi radialis) that run approximately down the center of the forearm. An easy way to find the point is to place three fingers across your wrist starting at the wrist crease, then look at the point where this line crosses between the two tendons.

PC6 has a couple of functions which are particularly useful.

First, PC6 is a primary point for treating nausea, no matter the cause. Its effect on nausea is what has earned PC6 the rare distinction of being able to treat a condition without the addition of other points. Whether it is post-operative opioid-induced nausea, motion sickness, in pregnancy-related nausea.

Another use for Pericardium 6 is to "calm the Shen." In more common language, this translates to calming the mind and reducing anxiety. PC6 also "opens and unbinds the chest." This refers to some of the types of physical symptoms that can be experienced with anxiety such as tightness in the chest and palpitations. Sometimes anxiety can produce nausea as well, in which case PC6 can help on both fronts.

The next time you are feeling anxious or nauseous, try massaging Pericardium 6 to feel better.

Liver 3 Accupressure Point

The liver’s job in TCM is to regulate and smooth the flow of qi (Energy) through the body. If the liver doesn’t do this, our digestive organs can’t do the job of digesting our food and people can end up with variable bowel movements, gas or abdomen pain. Some might call this a “nervous stomach”.

The liver meridian circles around the ge****ls. We use this point for hernia pain, ge***al pain, urinary tract infections etc. Also if qi doesn’t well, blood doesn’t either so gynecological issues can arise such as menstrual cramps, irregular periods or fibroids.

The liver is associated with wind. In TCM, certain issues or symptoms have the qualities of wind—they move around, are intermittent or they attack the upper portions of the body, the head and the face. Liver 3 can address issues like dizziness, headache and facial paralysis. Pair this point with Large Intestine 4 and you’ve got a great point combo for jaw pain, headache, stress, depression, irritability and insomnia.

If you are feeling any of the symptoms above or you want to give your Liver a little support, wash your hands, get in a comfortable position and gently hold or massage this point for 2-5 minutes. Your liver will thank you.

Cautions:
Do not use acupressure as self-care when pregnant without the guidance of a licensed acupuncturist.
