The 77th Republic Day of India was celebrated with great enthusiasm, joy and gratitude at Anandam Home and Anandam Special School. Shri Chella Krishna RCM Club of Madras, immediate past President and Dr Anuradha Ganesan, President nominee for the centenary year of Rotary club of Madras unfurled the national flag at both the places. They appreciated the efforts of our elders and special children in the talent display

Anandam Home for Senior citizens wrapped up its 2025-26 Margazhi Kalai vizha with a grand vocal concert by Ms. K. Priya. She was accompanied on the violin by Shri M. Vijay and on the mridangam by Uzhavoor Shri P K Babu. Priya's voice was very melodious and she did full justice to every piece selected by her. Every day of the Margazhi music festival was enjoyable, with participation from budding as well as senior artistes from chennai and many other places from India and abroad. The management and elders of Anandam place their heartfelt gratitude towards all partons and artistes for their continued support🙏🏽

Today evening, Anandam Home resonated with the vibrant veena concert presented by Vidushi Smt Sowmya Ramesh. She was accompanied on the mridangam by Vidwan Shri S. Srinivasan. Vidushi Sowmya sang very melodiously while playing the veena, which added lustre to the entire recital, making it very enjoyable.

The members of Durga, Lakshmi, Saraswathi Bhajan mandali from Porur, Chennai led by their guru Smt Visalakshi presented an excellent Bhajan singing programme at Anandam Home for Senior citizens today evening. Their singing charged the entire atmosphere at our Home with music, bhakthi and sheer joy. All our elders expressed their happiness and lovingly requested the Bhajan mandali to visit Anandam often
