2. ⁠arch of aorta with Vagus + recurrent laryngeal nerve, stapled bronchi, stapled tributaries of pulmonary vein and suture ligated branches of pulmonary artery above downwards in the middle
3. ⁠descending thoracic aorta posteriorly
Remaining left lung is retracted away.

We are pleased to announce that the department of surgical oncology, Government Arignar Anna Memorial Cancer Hospital, Kancheepuram has crossed another milestone in its journey to reach greater heights in cancer care. Today, we did left upper lobectomy, our first ever lung resection. Blood loss was less than 300ml & duration was less than 3 hours.
