The Department of Community Rehabilitation Sciences at SIMATS College of Physiotherapy organized a mobile physiotherapy camp at Kottur on February 26, 2026. Guided by Ms. Jeberson J (Musculoskeletal Science) student, in collaboration with Sevabharathi Tamilnadu and SMCH, the camp provided neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation, promoted awareness about physiotherapy, and offered guidance for follow-up care.

At PUM School, Molachur Ward-4, PGs Varshini A.K and Premson A, with students Jayaprakash, Daniel, and Nishanth, conducted 10 CPR awareness activities for 45 beneficiaries, addressing choking management. CPR education covered 30:2 compressions and breaths. A self-breast examination session was also held for women from five families. The camp enhanced awareness and strengthened communication and leadership skills of PG students.

On February 24, 2026, the Department of Community, Geriatric and Palliative Care, SIMATS College of Physiotherapy conducted a public oncology screening survey at Molachur Ward-4. Led by PG Dr. M. Srivatsan under Dr. Diovin Derose and Dr. Madhan Raj Sekar, 20 individuals were screened for physical activity and quality of life. The program promoted cancer awareness, healthy lifestyle practices, and community engagement.

On 10 February 2026, the Department of Community, Geriatric and Palliative Care, SIMATS College of Physiotherapy conducted a Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Camp at PUM School, Molachur Ward-4. Led by PG Dr. M. Srivatsan under Dr. Pavithra and Dr. Madhan Raj Sekar, with Tabitha, Archana, Shruti and Anusheela, the camp benefited 32 school children and women from five families through health and safety awareness programs.
