Loss of sensation in cornea can cause failure of corneal transplants , non healing ulcers and many other problems with eye sight . I have transferred forehead nerve to the eye and split it into fine nerve bundles to supply sensation to the eye . Extremely fine and delicate surgery done through keyhole approach with no visible scar . The scar is hidden in eyebrow hair . Sight saving surgery . Very gratifying .

This lady had road traffic accident . She had fractures which caused sunken eye , droopy eyelid, eyeball deviation and block in tear drainage. He had 4 surgeries with no significant benefit ,before I saw her . I corrected her fractures, eyelid and eyeball deviation . 4months after surgery she sent me several of her pictures and I could see how happy and confident she is now . Back to social life and work in the university . Transforming faces , transforming lives ..Grateful I could make a difference .

European society of plastic and reconstructive surgery ESOPRS meeting 2025 at Prague. Meeting was fantastic with historical venue the Municipal house , amazing attendance , stellar talks and cultural feast. I had the opportunity to deliver a talk on orbital adherence post trauma and also chair a session on war injuries . Honoured and grateful for the opportunity.

Operative course in orbitofacial trauma and reconstruction hospital Coimbatore was an amazing amalgamation of skills from fields of faciomaxillary surgery, and oculoplasty. Was honoured to perform live surgery as well demonstrate orbital approaches on cadaver dissection and fracture repairs on models and moderate a session . Interactive courses like this bring out the best talents to achieve the desired results on our trauma patients . #

Lower lid bags are difficult to treat in thin skinned individuals like the beautiful lady here . Expertise is required to reposition the fat as slight lumps will be visible in thin skinned individuals. She had a beautiful result without any bumps or hollowness . -where eyes meet elegance
