Speed Medical Institute was first started by Dr. Vinayak Senthil in the year 2002 in Chennai with 250 students. What started out as a small coaching centre for local students, has now grown into the country’s premium PG medical entrance exam training institute in the country with 15 centres in Chennai, Bengaluru, Coimbatore, New Delhi, Hyderabad, Pondicherry, Kolkata, Kochi, Mumbai, Madurai, Mangadu, Ahmedabad, Lucknow, Vijayawada and Belgaum. While studying and training for his entrance exam, he was surprised to see that so many talented, ambitious, hard working, diligent students were unable to get into a PG course of their choice due to lack of proper guidance. Course was planned and programmed so that ardent students who had a single minded approach to their future career will be able to fulfill their dreams of being a specialist in their desired field. The goal of this course is to provide the students with faculty members who are dedicated to motivate and guide the students in the right direction into reaching the pinnacle of success. The success of the medical entrance exam training institute ,popular demand by the dental students and due to a dearth of training institutes, encouraged the Director to start entrance exam training centres for dental students too. The course was first started in 2005 and is now held in Chennai and Bengaluru. Speed has 65 expert faculty members who are integral to the institute and their selfless service and devotion to the students play a vital role in their success. With their dedication and perseverance Speed has trained over 35,000 students from across the country with a very high success rate. The course in formatted to enable students to tackle all entrance exams for which they are eligible (All India, A.I.I.M.S, P.G.I Chandigarh, JIPMER and all state level entrance exams). In 2006, Speed publications have introduced Answer-Discussion books for both AIIMS (May & November) and All India with the help of the students and Speed faculty within a span of 2 weeks of the entrance exams.
