A Basic Level 2 day Workshop on Q***r Affirmative Counselling Practice was organised jointly by IAPS, MOP Vaishnav College for Women and Mariwala Health Initiative on 4th and 5th of December, 2025. The facilitators - Dr Shruti Chakravarty and Ms Pooja Nair- were from Mumbai. They are part of Mariwala Health Initiative. 

It was a well received workshop. The registration was closed much before the last date for registration. There was an overwhelming response. 

The facilitators skillfully took the participants through topics like sexuality, gender and how to use their counselling skills using a QACP lens for the LGBTQAI+ Community. 

The workshop was held at MOP Vaishnav College for Women, Chennai.

The Indian Academy of Professional Supervisors (IAPS) invites Post Graduate students, Research Scholars, Independent Researchers, and Funded Project investigators (Government/Industry sponsored) to submit their research proposals for ethical clearance in the field of psychology.

The IEC-IAPS reviews proposals to ensure adherence to the highest ethical standards in psychological research.

Last Date for Submission: 14th November 2025

Review Meeting Date: 9th December 2025
