Intrauterine insemination (IUI) is a fertility treatment that involves placing s***m inside a woman's uterus to facilitate fertilization. The goal of IUI is to increase the number of s***m that reach the fallopian tubes and subsequently increase the chance of fertilization.

Women often have a 10 to 20 percent chance of getting pregnant with just one IUI cycle. The more cycles of IUI you undergo, the higher the chance is for a pregnancy. With 3 to 6 cycles of IUI, pregnancy rates can be as high as 80 percent.

Our Journey to Parenthood We came to a realization that we needed medical help to start a family after
being married for nine years. I had to undergo two surgeries to be able to realise our dream. After
surgeries and recovery, our family doctor Ms. Anshu Bansal referred us to Dr.Arulmozhi (APAAR
FERTILITY CLINIC). Initially, I was reluctant to go to a fertility clinic. Taking the first step towards assisted
pregnancy wasn& #39;t that easy. I had to overcome my fears about this long procedure and when we met
our doctor, she was super kind to answer my doubts and explained things patiently. A warm person, she
is too passionate about her work and truly cares her patients. She explained our possibilities after a
series of tests and examining my condition. Then we started our treatment. We blindly trusted our
doctor and followed her advises religiously. Gradually, we both started having hope after several
meetings. I remember those days, travelling silently to meet the doctor. But, on our drive back home,
we talk to each other with a lot of hope. A competent doctor, who radiates happiness and hope to
many. Should have met her earlier. I was successful with my first IVF. It happened to me. I enjoyed the
most beautiful phase in my life. Now we are proud parents of our lovely daughter. We can never thank
