There are a number of ways a face mask can be worn wrong;

🚫 Wearing the mask below your nose.
🚫 Leaving the chin exposed.
🚫 Wearing the mask loosely with gaps on the sides.
🚫 Pushing the mask under the chin to rest on the neck.

Some keep fidgeting with their masks, while others keep pulling it up and down while speaking.

The right way to wear your mask is so it comes all the way up, close to the bridge of your nose, and all the way down under your chin. Do your best to tighten the loops or ties so it’s snug around your face, without gaps.

Face shields keep you from touching your mask as well as contaminating its exterior. Face shields complement face masks and reinforces the importance of physical distance.

Don’t have a false sense of security. Face shield combined with face mask, hand hygiene and social distancing all together is the best way to protect you and your loved ones from COVID-19.

The virus infects our respiratory system and so it is pretty obvious that we should be careful not to touch our noses and mouths – but how are the eyes connected?

Coronavirus can enter your eyes either through a form of aerosol transmission. This can happen when particles are propelled by somebody with the virus coughing or sneezing. Alternatively, if you have the virus on your hands from touching a contaminated surface and then touch your eyes, you can infect yourself.
The mucous membrane and the tear ducts are other points of access for the coronavirus to enter your respiratory system.

Our Face shields ensure your eyes are not exposed to such droplets in the air and you do no touch your face or rub your eyes.
