Big branded retail chains and online platforms have set their foot in the Indian retail industry and are today known as "Industry Giants". Their market size as of today is Rs 2500 Bn which is just 5% of the total Indian retail industry. 95% of the industry is the unorganized independent retailers with their brick and mortar shops. These giants have all resources, technology and money for their POS solution but these 95% retailers have no such things. Seeing this opportunity of serving these people in a better way, 3 industry experts took charge and Tarnea was born.
