Celebrating Ability Beyond Barriers ✨

The 24th CavinKare ABILITY Awards 2026 brought together inspiring achievers, powerful stories, and a shared vision of inclusion. The evening honoured remarkable individuals with disabilities who are driving meaningful change across fields such as education, entrepreneurship, law, technology, civic engagement, and the arts.

Recognised under the categories of Eminence, Mastery, and Special Recognition, each awardee represents resilience, leadership, and the spirit to push beyond limitations.

An eminent jury panel comprising Lt Gen Arun Ananthanarayan (Retd), Dr Vinod Surana, Dr Mariazeena Johnson, Mr Madhan Karky, and Mr Lakshminarayanan Duraiswamy brought their expertise from defence, law, academia, the arts, and business to select this year’s winners.

The event was further enriched by the presence of Deepika T.C., Captain of the World Cup-winning Blind Women’s Cricket Team, and Thanya Nathan, set to become Kerala’s first blind judge — reinforcing the power of representation and progress.

Soulful performances by Purushothaman (Sa Re Ga Ma Pa 2023 winner) and classical musician Abinaya Shenbagaraj, along with sign language interpretation, made the evening truly inclusive and memorable.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr. K. Ramkumar, Partner, Ernst & Young, for his role as Process Validator.

A celebration of strength, talent, and the limitless potential of ability.
